Diploma in Nutrient Removal - Level 4 Certification
Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) is a process used to remove nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater before releasing it to surface or groundwater. This process is carried out with the aim of reducing nutrient concentrations on wastewater to safe levels and to avoid scenarios that present problems for the ecosystem and for civilians equally. All wastewater systems are required to implement processes that controls the concentration of nitrogen and phosphorus and this Diploma in Nutrient Removal – Level 4 has been designed to educate you more on this.
Designed to help individuals aspiring to get into wastewater management and for professionals looking to progress in their careers, this course has taken upto itself to explore every crucial aspects of nutrient removal to help you incorporate it effectively within the wastewater treatment activities. The course also beautifully relays the clean water acts and legislations that have to be followed by wastewater treatment settings to thrive in the long run.
The modules will go on to delve into topics such as preliminary treatment, nitrogen control, total dissolved solids, water quality criteria, processed wastewater solids and many more to further build on your nutrient removal knowledge. You will also gain insight into the various nutrient removal technologies that are currently being used worldwide.
